I love the bike...It is the same as mine! I too am inspired by vintage art and artists like Van Gogh ang Matisse. I also love peacocks, because I had to miss my prom to chase one that had escaped from the zoo (dressed up,made-up, and fighting a bird...Wouldn't trade that memory for anything!)
I am inspired by art deco and mid-century architecture and design and I love to take photographs like the ones you posted with my grandmothers camera that is crazy old but gets better quality pictures than any of the newer digital models that I have experimented with. I love your post, because it reminds me of the small things in life that can fill me with a sense of peace and beauty. Simply encountering beautiful textures and colors alone can make my day feel magical. I guess this is what it means (for me) to stop and smell the roses. Find beauty in everyday things and appreciate it.
